St. Patrick’s Day Parade Planning Underway
Big Sky Senior Services, Inc., (BSSS) and the Save Our Parade Committee are busy planning and
organizing the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Celtic Street Fair. The 2009 parade will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 14. The street fair will set up between First and Third Avenues on N. Broadway
from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The parade follows the traditional downtown
parade route.
BSSS will be selling Butte pasties, shepherd’s pie and Irish
stew at Yellowstone Valley Brewing Co., 2123 1st Ave. N. from 4–8 p.m. on Friday, March
13. Due to popular demand, frozen Butte pasties will also be
for sale during the parade and are currently available through presale orders. BSSS is seeking vendors interested in being part of the street

All proceeds from the parade, the food sales and street fair activities benefits BSSS in its mission to enhance
the independence and quality of life for the elderly population and developmentally disabled adults,
regardless of their ability to pay.
